Understanding Your Dashboard
The dashboard is your cross-project home base — a portfolio-level view of balances, cash flow, and what needs your attention, on top of the project-level detail you get inside each project.
Get started with Rokada (onboarding checklist)
New accounts see a setup checklist until all five steps are complete, or you skip it:
- Connect a bank account
- Import a bank statement
- Classify your first transaction
- Set your first budget
- Set your first goal
You can collapse or skip the checklist at any time; it stays available until every step is done.
What needs your attention
A summary of anything that needs a decision from you right now: how many transactions are waiting for review, upcoming bills due this week, and any bank connections that need reconnecting (re-authentication).
Portfolio balances and this month
Portfolio balances are net figures — total confirmed income minus total confirmed expenses, per currency, across all your projects. They reflect your Rokada accounting position, not a live bank balance. This month shows what you've spent, earned, and your savings rate for the current calendar month, with a comparison to last month.
Cross-border
A running total of what you've remitted to India this month and year-to-date — the number most NRIs check first.
Net worth
Assets (US and India, plus any connected investment accounts) minus liabilities (credit cards, loans, other debts), with a 6-month trend.
Income sources, budgets, and goals
- Income sources — recurring income Rokada has detected from your connected accounts, marked Reliable or Possible based on how consistent it's been.
- Budget progress — spending against the category limits you've set.
- Active goals — progress toward savings targets, debt paydown, or a remittance goal you've set up.
Investment snapshot
If you've connected a brokerage account, a summary of total portfolio value and gain/loss, with a link to the full Holdings and Transactions view.
